[RNP] Halloween #4 - Full Perm SL Animation
RNP] Pennywise Dance - Full Perm Second Life Animation
What is FP

What is "Full Perm"?

"Full Perm" refers to animations that come with copy, modify, and transfer permissions as outlined in the Terms of Service.

These animations can be redistributed only as part of your creations, with restricted permissions as specified in the [RNP] TOS.

You are not permitted to transfer animations as standalone items with any perms, even to your own alternate accounts. Please remember that Second Life sales are based on SL avatar accounts, not real-life individuals.

I have working alt, can i transfer FP animations
to her/him?

Second Life sales are account/avatar based, and the account holder is responsible for all actions associated with their account. When you purchased [RNP] animations, you agreed to a license for limited use and accepted [RNP]'s terms of service (TOS).

As per the licensing agreement and TOS, sharing animations with other accounts owned by the same real-life individual is not permitted. Individual transfer licenses approved by RohanaRaven Zerbino are not available.

While we understand that circumstances may change, it is the account holder's responsibility to manage their business accounts and ensure that purchases are made using the appropriate account.

How to set up perms in my creations?

Setup Perms

To set up permissions for your creations, it is necessary to choose one of the following permission combinations for the animations:

1.   Copy/No transfer
2.  No copy/Transfer

The modify permission is insignificant in this case, as animations cannot be modified in-world, only renamed.

If all of your creations have the same permissions, it is recommended to set up the permissions directly in your inventory. Ensure that the animation permissions correspond with the overall permissions of your creation.

For added certainty, you can use AvSitter's Anim-perm-checker script to verify the permissions.

Are there props included in the packs?

Props

No, props are not included in the [RNP] animation packs.

[RNP] is a full perm animation shop that exclusively provides full perm animations for builders to incorporate into their designs.

If you require props, objects, meshes, or sculpts for your projects, I recommend visiting your preferred full perm mesh/sculpt creator shop to acquire the necessary components for your work.

Some of your packs have Prim Model Guide included,
what are those?

PrimModelGuide

Prim Model Guides are objects constructed using Second Life prims. They serve two main purposes:

1.    Creating your own mesh: If you are designing your own mesh, you can use the Prim Model Guides provided by [RNP] as a reference. By reproducing the prim prop in your 3D program and using the guide for size and shape, you can ensure accurate proportions when creating your own mesh.

2.   Positioning props onto Second Life avatars: The Prim Model Guides also act as helpful tools for positioning your own objects correctly in relation to avatars. They serve as guides to ensure proper alignment and positioning of your objects based on the avatar's form.

The Prim Model Guides are intended to assist you in creating and positioning props effectively within Second Life.

Usage with Animesh

Animesh

While I don't have personal experience with [RNP] animations used specifically with Animesh objects, feedback from my customers indicates that they have successfully utilized [RNP] animations with Animesh without any issues. It seems that these animations work effectively in conjunction with Animesh.

Partial Bento Animations

Partial Beto

Partial Bento animations are specifically designed for use with separate body parts such as Bento Fingers and Bento Heads.

To utilize these animations, you will need to acquire a script capable of layering animations, such as those available from [Black Tulp] shop.

Please note that using partial Bento animations in standalone HUD products is a violation of the Terms of Service (ToS).

[RNP] Scenes/Sequences

Scenes

An animation scene or sequence is a multi-part animation designed to be sequenced together using a sequence-capable tool (such as AVSitter). This allows for a seamless and natural scene experience that goes beyond the length limitations of Second Life.

Sequence-ready files are not intended to be used separately, but rather within a scene, following a specific order and setup.

The positions of animations within the sequence will always remain the same. To facilitate adjustment, a static pose for position adjustment is included in the pack (positions must be adjusted based on the given object!).

Since the parts of the scenes are connected with a script, it is possible to observe transitions between animations during the initial plays. Once cached, the transitions will work normally.

Each scene pack includes an Example Model with a pre-set scene setup that you can use to configure the scenes in your own creations.

Animation & Body Shape

Body Shape

If you are a builder who is working with  [RNP] animations, you should consider to adjust your female and male body working shapes.

Due to variations in Bento mesh heads, it is no longer possible to simply wear the shape; shapes now require manual adjustments. Consequently, we have provided a small Shape Shifter Helper HUD with instructions that will guide you in modifying the values in your shapes to create [RNP] working female and male shapes.

Detailed explanation:

It is important to understand that no animation in Second Life can perfectly fit every shape. When referring to body shape in Second Life, we are considering body proportions beyond just height. Thus, an animation may work well for both petite and giant avatars if their body proportions align with the shape used as a model for creating the animation.

The width of the shoulders, along with the length of the arms, significantly impacts the positioning of the arms. This aspect is often overlooked when assessing animation compatibility. Hip width and leg positioning are also interrelated.

In Second Life, there is no script available that can temporarily adjust the avatar's body shape to match an animation. Additionally, there are no scripting options, to my knowledge, for creating such a script.

The only viable solution for achieving a perfect animation setup is to wear the shape that the animator used during the animation creation process or make adjustments to your personal shape to align with the animator's shape. While replacing your outfit with the model shape may require some effort, there are situations where this endeavor can be worthwhile.

However, if the furniture creator has chosen to use animations from different animators, it becomes unavoidable to accept certain imperfections in the animations caused by mismatches in body shape or proportions.

Furthermore, it is important to note that human animations will not work seamlessly on four-legged animal shapes. For those avatars, specialized animations tailored to their specific shape will need to be sought.

Animation & Hover Height

HoverHeight

When using [RNP] Animations, it is required to keep the hover height of all avatars at 0.

Detailed explanation:

Hover Height is a useful tool for adjusting your avatar's distance from the ground or other objects.

However, it's important to note that changing the hover height can affect the positioning of animations in furniture or HUDs. You may find yourself displaced from the intended position if the hover height is not properly adjusted. Please use this feature wisely and remember to check and adjust your hover height before contacting the creator for assistance.

Multi-avatars interactive animations (ex. couples)

Couples

When setting up multi-avatar interactive animations, such as couples animations, it is crucial to adjust the positions of both avatars together as a unit and not to change the avatars' mutual position in relation to each other.

By moving all adjusters together, you maintain the original "imaginary zero" position, ensuring that their centers are aligned properly. This approach allows for easier personal adjustments for the end users who will be using the animations.

This principle applies even if you are using shapes other than [RNP] shapes.

Animation & Shoes

Shoes

Shoe bases can have an impact on the overall height of the avatar, which can result in a displacement of the avatar's center. While this change is usually negligible for individual animations, it becomes more noticeable in interactive animations such as couples animations. In such cases, the change in height caused by shoe bases can affect the mutual positions of the avatars.

If you frequently wear high heels and engage in interactive animations with a partner, it is recommended to ask your partner to adjust their avatar height accordingly to maintain the desired positioning during animations.

Animation & Broken Ankle

BrokenAnkle

The appearance of a "broken ankle" in animations is caused by the rotation of the feet, particularly when wearing high heels. The feet are joints that need to be animated, and they cannot be excluded from the animation process.

Different animators approach this issue in various ways:

- Some animators choose to work with minimal rotation of the foot, assuming that high heels will be worn. However, when used with bare feet, these animations may appear odd in terms of foot positioning.

- Other animators, including myself, choose to rotate the feet accordingly to the animation and leave the decision of wearing shoes or not to the end user. Without a broken ankle fix, these animations may also look unnatural when used with high heels.

A broken ankle fix is an additional animation or script that adjusts the feet and blocks foot animations. However, using such a fix can sometimes result in less realism in certain animations. Due to its nature as an animation with an added script, it needs to have higher priority than the main animation in order to function properly.

Are you taking custom work?
